Church life is not just coming to worship service on Sunday; at TBC, we believe that families and our community should come together whenever possible. We are always looking for the best ways to bring our church family together while spreading the word of God, and getting to know our neighbors. We want to share some of the events our church has participated in recently. Take a look at some of the activities and take note of all the smiles!
Women's ministry
What a great time we had at the TBC Women’s Ministry Movie Night! Over 40 women of all ages gathered and enjoyed good food, trivia, fellowship and a very impactful movie. We were inspired to go deeper in our walk with the Lord if we want to see revival in ourselves and the community.
TBC Trunk or Treat 2022
We had a fantastic Trunk or Treat this Fall! So many of our community and church friends came out to join in on all the fun. We had good food, a warm fire with marshmallows roasting for the S'mores, so many decorated trunks and both scary and friendly costumes in all corners of our church grounds! Everyone that attended seemed to have a big smile on their face! Check out some of the highlights below in our photo collage!
Flying Squirrels Game
The Tomahawk Baptist Church and Swift Creek Elementary School partnership is in full swing. Tomahawk Baptist Church was donated some tickets to the Richmond Flying Squirrels game, thank you Ron, and our church decided to be a blessing to some of our teachers at Swift Creek Elementary School. The pictures show three teachers and their families from Swift Creek Elementary having fun at the game. We are so happy that these families had a great time!
This is just the beginning and we are excited by how we can continue to serve Swift Creek Elementary School’s teachers, staff, parents and students!
Middle District Baptist Association Golf Tournament 2022
The Middle District Baptist Association Annual Missions Golf Tournament 2022 was held on Saturday, September 10 at Amelia Golf & County Club. All proceeds will make local and international missions possible through MDBA. TBC was there in "full swing"
